Payroll Administrator – Beaconsfield (Hybrid)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator to join a leading independent accountancy firm in Beaconsfield. You will manage a diverse client portfolio, delivering accurate payroll services while supporting auto‑enrolment and pension administration.

Key responsibilities

• Process weekly, fortnightly, four‑weekly and monthly payrolls for multiple clients.
• Set up new starters, process leavers and salary amendments, and maintain employee records.
• Produce payslips, P45s and payroll reports; reconcile HMRC accounts and liaise with HMRC on behalf of clients.
• Handle day‑to‑day payroll queries and ensure payrolls are reviewed by senior team members.
• Manage Auto‑Enrolment for clients, communicate staging dates, produce employee communications, process through KeyPay and upload pension files.
• Reconcile pension payments and support overall client service.

Required profile

• Proven experience in payroll administration within an accountancy or finance environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines.
• Excellent client‑facing skills and ability to build relationships across sectors.
• Willingness to work collaboratively and seek guidance when needed.
