People & Culture Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a People & Culture Specialist to join a professional services organisation in Bristol on a 6‑12 month fixed‑term contract. Working closely with the Head of HR, you will drive employee engagement, culture, wellbeing, EDI and internal communications initiatives to create a values‑led workplace where colleagues thrive.

Key responsibilities

• Design, launch and evaluate employee engagement programmes that reinforce organisational culture.
• Develop and embed wellbeing, inclusion and diversity strategies.
• Translate organisational values into tangible experiences and communications.
• Coach managers to act as culture ambassadors.
• Analyse people data, engagement surveys and feedback to identify trends and inform decisions.
• Partner with HR colleagues and internal stakeholders to deliver impactful people initiatives.
• Collaborate with internal communications teams on culture‑focused campaigns.
• Monitor success of initiatives through KPIs and employee feedback.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing and delivering culture, engagement or organisational development projects.
• Strong understanding of employee engagement, culture change and organisational development.
• Experience creating EDI and wellbeing programmes.
• Confidence using people data and insights to influence business decisions.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills at all levels.
• Robust project management ability to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Collaborative, people‑focused mindset with a passion for continuous improvement.
