Peripatetic Nurse (RGN/RMN) – Care Home

About the role

As a Peripatetic Nurse you will travel across Basingstoke and the surrounding South East England region to provide high‑quality clinical care in multiple Barchester care homes. You will lead multidisciplinary teams on each shift, ensuring residents receive safe, personalised care while supporting staff development.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care and uphold clinical standards at each care home you visit.
• Lead and mentor multidisciplinary teams to maintain high‑quality resident outcomes.
• Facilitate the admission and settling‑in process for new residents.
• Develop and review individualised care plans and risk assessments.
• Promote best practice in medication administration and regulatory compliance.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN) with a current NMC registration.
• Teaching, mentoring or supervision qualification.
• Strong, up‑to‑date clinical knowledge and understanding of NMC standards.
• Proven experience producing care plans and detailed risk assessments.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive, can‑do attitude.
