About the role
This permanent part‑time position supports the Pharmacy Services Education and Training team within NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde. You will ensure smooth administrative operations, contributing to high‑quality, patient‑focused care in a collaborative NHS environment.
Key responsibilities
- Provide confidential administrative and secretarial support to the Education and Training team.
- Organise meetings and training events, book venues and prepare related documentation.
- Prepare agendas, collate papers, take minutes and follow up on actions.
- Manage diaries, handle telephone, email and face‑to‑face enquiries as the first point of contact.
- Maintain accurate records and update HR systems such as SSTS and eESS.
- Liaise with internal departments, external partners and stakeholders at all levels.
- Support monitoring and progress of training programmes and projects, ensuring deadlines are met.
Required profile
- HNC/SVQ III in Secretarial Studies, Business Administration or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in an administrative or project support role within a busy office.
- Excellent organisational ability, strong communication skills and the capacity to handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages (ECDL or equivalent qualification).
