About the role
The Pharmacy Dispenser ensures the smooth day‑to‑day operation of the dispensary, providing accurate medication dispensing and supporting patients in understanding their healthcare needs. You will work in a professional, organised environment, directly impacting patient care and recovery.
Key responsibilities
- Dispense outpatient and blister‑pack prescriptions accurately and efficiently.
- Manage stock, including rotation, ordering, and liaison with procurement teams.
- Process private prescriptions and handle associated documentation.
- Support the training of new pharmacy assistants.
- Ensure compliance with SSL policies and standard operating procedures.
Required profile
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Excellent communication skills to tailor conversations with customers.
- Professional and organised approach to work.
