Pharmacy Manager – Community Healthcare Lead

About the role

Superdrug is seeking a dynamic Pharmacy Manager to lead a community pharmacy in Bridgwater. You will be responsible for delivering high‑quality patient care while driving commercial performance in a fast‑moving retail health environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop the pharmacy team to exceed performance targets and provide exceptional patient service.
• Manage stock levels, daily operations and ensure compliance with GPhC (PSNI) standards.
• Drive commercial success, monitor financial performance and implement growth initiatives.
• Develop and expand pharmacy‑based healthcare services to meet local community needs.
• Utilise clinical expertise to support patients across a broad range of health conditions.
• Collaborate with the Regional Healthcare Manager and contribute to the strategic direction of Superdrug’s healthcare offering.

Required profile

• GPhC‑registered pharmacist with community pharmacy experience (preferred).
• Strong leadership and team‑management capabilities.
• Commercial awareness and understanding of NHS pharmacy funding.
• Passion for delivering outstanding patient care.
• Ambition to progress towards a Regional Healthcare Manager role.

Required skills

• GPhC registration.
• Independent Prescriber qualification (welcome but not essential).
