Platform Engineer – DevOps (Glasgow/Edinburgh)

About the role

Accenture is seeking a Platform Engineer with a DevOps focus to join its S&PE Engineering team. Based in Glasgow or Edinburgh, you will work on client projects across the UK, delivering high‑quality digital products and services.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to design, build, and deploy digital platforms.
• Provide hands‑on engineering expertise while leading technical delivery teams.
• Contribute to internal engineering communities and share best practices.
• Advise on efficient, low‑complexity solutions that maximise value.
• Travel to client sites on an ad‑hoc basis throughout the UK.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a platform or DevOps engineer.
• Ability to work independently and lead technical initiatives.
• Willingness to travel across the UK as required.
• Eligibility for BPSS and SC security clearance (requires 5 years continuous UK address history).
