Platform Site Reliability Engineer

About the role

Radiant is building AI‑native cloud platforms and needs a Platform Site Reliability Engineer to design, deploy and operate Kubernetes clusters that power high‑performance AI workloads. You will work on both bare‑metal and partner infrastructure, ensuring reliability, performance and scalability.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy and manage large‑scale Kubernetes clusters for AI‑centric workloads on bare‑metal and partner environments.
• Develop Kubernetes manifests and operators to support networking, storage, security and identity services.
• Optimize Linux system configuration, including kernel, drivers and filesystems, for workload performance.
• Build and maintain automation scripts and infrastructure‑as‑code for platform lifecycle and incident troubleshooting.
• Apply ITSM processes such as Incident, Major Incident, Change Management and service improvement.
• Maintain and enhance the observability stack (Prometheus, Grafana, custom integrations).
• Participate in 24×7 on‑call rotation, incident post‑mortems and automation of remediations.
• Mentor junior engineers and act as an operational consultant for other departments.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in globally scaled, performance‑intensive environments with 24/7 support.
• 3+ years deploying and optimizing Kubernetes in production.
• Expert‑level Linux administration (Ubuntu) and system tuning.
• Strong networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, switching).
• Proven ability to write automation scripts (Bash, Python, Ansible) and manage infrastructure as code.
