Plumber – Residential Repairs (Calderdale)

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Plumber to join our repairs team, delivering a wide range of plumbing repairs for both tenanted and vacant properties across the Calderdale area. The role focuses on a customer‑service oriented approach, aiming to complete repairs efficiently and to a high standard.

Key responsibilities

• Perform plumbing repairs in tenanted and vacant properties according to job tickets and specifications.
• Adopt a “Right First Time” approach, aiming to finish repairs in a single visit.
• Organise work to minimise downtime and communicate any workload issues.
• Participate in overtime, stand‑by, and call‑out rota as required.
• Diagnose and address unexpected repair issues, seeking approval for additional costs or time.
• Maintain workmanship standards, safety procedures, and efficient use of time, materials and resources.

Required profile

• Full UK manual driving licence.
• City and Guilds Craft Certificate in Plumbing or equivalent (NVQ Level 2).
• Competent experience in all areas typically required of a qualified plumber and related building disciplines.
• Proven experience in a customer‑service setting.
• Ability to optimise repairs to complete multiple jobs in one visit.

Required skills

• Full UK manual driving licence
• City and Guilds Craft Certificate in Plumbing (NVQ Level 2)
