About the role
Brighton Girls is seeking a qualified teacher to join its Prep School from September 2026. The successful candidate will teach EYFS, KS1 or KS2 pupils across the full curriculum, delivering lessons with enthusiasm and adapting strategies to support each learner.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons for EYFS, KS1 or KS2 classes.
- Cover all curriculum subjects, ensuring progression and attainment.
- Use a variety of teaching strategies to meet individual student needs.
- Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing feedback and support.
- Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to the wider Prep School community.
Required profile
- Qualified teacher (QTS) with experience in a Prep or Primary setting.
- Ability to teach across EYFS, KS1 or KS2 curriculum.
- Commitment to the values of the Girls’ Day School Trust, including diversity and inclusion.
- Willingness to start in September 2026 and work full‑time or part‑time.
Required skills
- Strong classroom management and instructional techniques.
- Proficiency in using a range of teaching resources and assessment tools.
