About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Primary School Teacher to join our community-focused school in Northern Ireland. The successful candidate will deliver high‑quality instruction to children of varying abilities, fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons across the primary curriculum, adapting strategies to meet the needs of all learners, including those with Special Educational Needs.
• Utilise digital media and technology to enhance teaching and learning experiences.
• Maintain effective classroom management to inspire and challenge pupils.
• Build nurturing, positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Collaborate with the teaching team and contribute to the coordination of specific curriculum areas.
• Uphold and model the school’s values and ethos in daily practice.

Required profile

• Qualified teacher with recognition to teach in grant‑aided schools in Northern Ireland.
• Registered with the General Teaching Council for Northern Ireland (GTCNI) prior to appointment.
• Demonstrable experience using a range of effective classroom strategies.
• Proven ability to support and challenge pupils of all abilities.
• Experience integrating digital tools into classroom instruction.
• Strong teamwork skills and a commitment to the school’s ethos.

Required skills

• Teaching qualification meeting NI standards.
• Registration with GTCNI.
• Proficiency in using digital media/technology for education.
