About the role

Dalmain Primary School is seeking a passionate teacher to join its outstanding team. The role is ideal for newly qualified teachers or those with a few years of experience who want to work in a supportive, research‑driven environment and help pupils thrive academically and personally.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons for Key Stage 2 (and potentially EYFS/KS1) across the curriculum.
• Provide all pupils with access to the curriculum, adapting approaches for SEND where needed.
• Maintain high standards of behaviour and create a safe, caring classroom atmosphere.
• Collaborate with senior leaders and colleagues to support the school’s ambitious goals.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Love for children and a desire to make a positive impact on young lives.
• Strong commitment to learning, achievement and high expectations.
• Experience teaching EYFS, KS1 or KS2 and a solid pedagogical understanding.
• Up‑to‑date knowledge of how young children learn.
