About the role
Reed Education is seeking compassionate and skilled individuals to join schools in Brighton as Primary Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistants. You will support children with diverse learning needs, helping them achieve their full potential in an inclusive classroom environment.
Key responsibilities
- Assist teachers in delivering tailored lessons for pupils with SEN.
- Provide one‑to‑one or small‑group support to reinforce learning objectives.
- Liaise with teachers, parents and other professionals to ensure consistent support.
- Help create a safe, supportive, and adaptable classroom atmosphere.
Required profile
- Experience working with children with SEN in an educational setting.
- A relevant qualification in SEN support or education (NVQ, CACHE, Degree, or equivalent).
- Patient, caring and adaptable approach to supporting learning.
- Strong communication skills for interaction with teachers, parents and professionals.
