Primary Supply Teacher (SEMH) – QTS Required

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Primary Supply Teacher to work in a specialist SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) setting in Cambridgeshire from September to December 2026. The role is full‑time, classroom‑based and focuses on building strong relationships that support pupils’ wellbeing and learning.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging primary curriculum lessons tailored to the needs of SEMH pupils.
• Adapt teaching strategies to maintain a calm, positive learning environment.
• Collaborate with senior staff to plan and implement outdoor and experiential learning activities.
• Monitor pupil progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Participate in safeguarding, DBS checks and other compliance procedures.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
• Experience or strong interest in working with SEMH or SEND pupils.
• Ability to inspire, motivate and build rapport with young learners.
• Positive, calm approach and flexibility to adapt lessons as needed.
