Principal Product Manager (Data)

About the role

Join a leading digital consultancy as a Principal Product Manager (Data) and own the vision, strategy and roadmap for complex data products and platforms. You will work with senior stakeholders across public and private sectors to shape priorities and deliver high‑value data solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Define and communicate the product vision, strategy and roadmap for data‑focused offerings.
• Translate business and technical requirements into clear product outcomes.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams of product, engineering, data and design in an Agile environment.
• Partner with Data Engineers, Architects and Analysts to design and deliver data products.
• Drive discovery, delivery and continuous improvement activities.
• Mentor other Product Managers and contribute to the product community.
• Support business development through client engagement and bid work.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering complex data products, platforms or services.
• Strong background in product strategy, road‑mapping and prioritisation.
• Experience working closely with Data Engineering, Analytics and Architecture teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to influence senior leaders and make strategic decisions.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams in Agile settings.
• Consultancy or regulated‑industry experience is a plus.
