Principal UX/UI Designer – SaaS (Hybrid, London)

About the role

We are looking for a Principal UX/UI Designer to join a fast‑growing SaaS company in London on a six‑month contract. The role is hybrid, with two days a week on site, and offers the chance to shape intuitive, scalable and accessible digital experiences for complex enterprise products.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end UX and UI design for multiple SaaS products and digital platforms.
• Create user journeys, flows, wireframes, high‑fidelity mockups and interactive prototypes.
• Develop and maintain reusable Figma components and contribute to a scalable design system.
• Produce clear design documentation, annotations and hand‑off assets for developers.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering and stakeholders throughout Agile sprints.
• Champion user‑centred design, accessibility standards and best‑practice guidelines.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a UX/UI, Product or Interaction Designer in digital product environments.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating design work on SaaS applications or similar complex digital products.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in cross‑functional Agile teams.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with Figma (design, prototyping, collaboration).
• Experience building and maintaining design systems.
• Wireframing, user‑flow mapping and high‑fidelity prototyping.
• Knowledge of accessibility principles and best practices.
