Private Client Solicitor (1+ years PQE)

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Private Client Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive to join our well‑established Private Client team in Swindon. The role offers the chance to work with individuals and families on a variety of private client matters while developing your legal career in a supportive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a personal caseload of wills, probate, estate administration, lasting powers of attorney, trusts and succession planning.
• Provide practical, sensitive and tailored advice to clients, ensuring they understand their options.
• Maintain high standards of accuracy and attention to detail in all client work.
• Collaborate with senior colleagues and seek supervision when required.

Required profile

• Minimum of 1 year post‑qualification experience as a Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive.
• Experience handling a broad range of private client matters.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal issues clearly.
• Strong organisational and time‑management abilities.
• Proactive, professional approach and commitment to outstanding client service.
