Private Tours Travel Consultant

About the role

We are looking for a Private Tours Travel Consultant to join our dynamic Tour Operations team. You will design and deliver bespoke cycling and hiking experiences across the UK, working closely with clients, suppliers and internal product teams.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate detailed itineraries for individuals and groups, covering accommodation, transport, activities and dining.
• Collaborate with Commercial and Product Managers to create high‑quality active travel products.
• Research destinations and suppliers to select the best providers across the UK.
• Manage all bookings, payments and cancellation deadlines, ensuring smooth delivery.
• Maintain strong supplier relationships and negotiate rates.
• Provide pre‑departure and in‑trip support to customers and guides, resolving issues promptly.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities while staying within budget.
• Support Product Managers in sourcing new suppliers and enhancing the product portfolio.

Required profile

• Previous experience in inbound travel, itinerary planning, or a UK Destination Management Company.
• Strong knowledge of UK outdoor destinations and a passion for the British countryside.
• Excellent communication and customer‑service skills.

• Competitive salary of £30,000‑£33,000 per year, dependent on experience.
