Private Wealth Adviser (Self-Employed)

About the role

Prestige IFA Jobs represents an established, growing international wealth management business in its search for an experienced Private Wealth Adviser to join its UK team on a self-employed basis. The client is headquartered in Poole and advises internationally connected clients; advisers can work remotely from anywhere in the UK. The role suits someone with a strong commercial mindset who enjoys building a client book, developing long-term relationships and growing recurring revenue.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and grow a personal client portfolio, generating new business through referrals, professional networks, events and proactive business development
• Convert prospects into long-term advisory relationships and increase client retention
• Leverage the group's brand, marketing, network and professional introducer relationships
• Provide holistic financial advice covering investments, pensions, protection, tax and estate planning
• Run regular client reviews and tailor financial planning strategies, including for internationally mobile clients

Required profile

• Level 4 qualification in Financial Advice or equivalent
• Previous experience as a practising financial adviser
• Commercial approach and proven ability to develop new business
• Ability to work independently and manage their own business
• Excellent organisation, professionalism, attention to detail and strong communication skills
