Process Supporter – LAS (Manufacturing)

About the role

The Process Supporter – LAS joins Lotus UK Manufacturing’s Production team in Norwich, ensuring daily operational stability across multiple manufacturing areas such as fabrication, machining, composites, welding and assembly. The role focuses on coaching operators, monitoring process adherence and driving continuous improvement to meet production targets safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate daily targets and performance, providing feedback to operators.
• Guarantee shift start readiness by checking parts, processes and tooling.
• Monitor process adherence, reduce scrap and consumable waste.
• Facilitate on‑the‑job training, cross‑training and job rotation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, lead problem‑solving and record non‑conformances.
• Maintain SHE and 5S standards, support safety audits and investigations.
• Evaluate team performance through reviews and manage attendance.
• Implement contingency plans during stoppages and lead SOS meetings.
• Plan daily work allocation, optimise machine utilisation and coach team members to meet objectives.

Required profile

• National Diploma or equivalent in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, Logistics or Operations.
• Proven supervisory or team‑lead experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably automotive or aerospace.
