Product Manager - Case & Construction Industry

About the role

Brenntag is looking for a Product Manager in Leeds to work in an assigned sub-industry. The role optimises gross profit margin by driving category management and marketing for industry-specific BSP products, defining product baskets and regional portfolios and managing suppliers.

Key responsibilities

• Manage relationships with key manufacturers and have a working knowledge of the case and construction industry.
• Negotiate with suppliers to obtain appropriate purchase and distribution agreements.
• Contribute to preparing, delivering and monitoring EBITDA sales and margin targets and budgets.
• Develop and implement sales and marketing plans for a defined portfolio of products, customers and industries.
• Review and assess the portfolio of products, customers and suppliers regularly.
• Report on plans and results, agree and ensure remedial action where required.
• Provide logistical and marketing support and training to launch or re-launch products.
• Control selling prices to maintain and improve budgeted gross margin and ensure products are purchased competitively.
• Provide market intelligence on availability, price, stock levels and market trends.
• Ensure consistent implementation of company reports, policies and procedures.
• Carry out other reasonable tasks assigned by line managers.
