Product Marketing Manager - Data Security

About the role

Skyhigh Security, a cloud-based security company founded in 2011, is hiring a Product Marketing Manager for its data security portfolio. This is a high-impact individual contributor role reporting to the Director of Product Marketing, focused on Data Security and Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) buyers. It works closely with Product Management, Sales, Demand Generation, Partner Marketing, Communications and Customer Success.

Key responsibilities

• Own the market and buyer perspective: understand GRC buyers, synthesize insights into positioning, messaging and go-to-market strategy, and track the competitive landscape.
• Own positioning and messaging for data security products, translating technical capabilities into customer value and tailoring messages to CISOs, data security leaders and compliance teams.
• Create buyer content across the journey: presentations, solution briefs, ebooks, white papers, blogs, videos, webinars and assessment tools, and work with Demand Generation on campaigns and offers.
• Drive sales and partner success: equip sellers and partners with pitch decks, battlecards, use cases and objection handling, deliver enablement and measure results against pipeline and win rates.
• Lead go-to-market planning and execution for product launches and major releases.

Required profile

• Hands-on product marketing experience in data security, not a generalist cybersecurity role.
• Familiarity with categories such as DLP, DSPM, CASB, cloud data security, insider risk, data governance, compliance or AI-related data protection.
• Strong cybersecurity domain knowledge combined with messaging, storytelling and go-to-market execution.
• Comfortable interviewing customers, writing executive presentations, creating campaign assets, enabling sellers and partners, and representing the company in webinars and analyst conversations.
