Production Controller

About the role

Airbus is seeking a Production Controller to manage customer orders and production work‑flows for its defence and space business. You will ensure that items are procured, manufactured and delivered on time, within cost and to schedule, while supporting continuous improvement across the supply chain.

Key responsibilities

• Load customer order demand into SAP and manage work orders throughout the production cycle.
• Release kits and work orders to the Assembly Integration & Test (AIT) function, expediting where necessary to meet delivery dates.
• Maintain and update live production schedules, ensuring accurate status visibility.
• Use SAP and Primavera P6 to monitor progress, identify bottlenecks and drive corrective actions.
• Lead cost‑saving initiatives across the supply chain, collaborating with inter‑departmental teams.
• Support the continuous improvement of production control processes and tools.

Required profile

• Ability to obtain or already hold SC Security Clearance.
• Experience in production control, order management or similar manufacturing environments.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on meeting cost, schedule and quality targets.
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate with multiple internal stakeholders.
