Production Co‑ordinator – £35k‑£40k + Travel

About the role

We are seeking a Production Co‑ordinator to join a specialist engineering organisation delivering bespoke technical equipment across the UK and internationally. The role blends hands‑on engineering involvement with project and production coordination, ensuring quality, safety and timely delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate fabrication and production activities to support project delivery.
• Work closely with engineering teams to meet schedule, quality and cost targets.
• Support equipment assembly, testing and commissioning.
• Provide regular updates on production progress.
• Coordinate servicing, maintenance and repair of equipment and instrumentation.
• Support customer installations and commissioning projects in the UK and overseas.
• Conduct site inspections and promote safe working practices.
• Maintain equipment, stock and asset records and support audits.

Required profile

• Experience in a production, manufacturing, engineering or fabrication environment.
• Strong planning and organisational skills.
• Ability to coordinate projects, production schedules or site activities.
• Effective communication with technical teams, suppliers and customers.
• Knowledge of quality, health & safety and operational procedures.
• Proactive problem‑solving attitude with high attention to detail.
• Willingness to travel within the UK and overseas when required.

Required skills

• Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.
• IOSH Managing Safely qualification.
• Counterbalance Forklift Licence.
• Experience creating Method Statements and Risk Assessments.
