Production Engineer – Precision Engineering

About the role

We are seeking a Production Engineer to join a specialist precision‑engineering company that supplies components to aerospace, defence, automotive and audio sectors. The role offers an early‑finish Friday, in‑house training on leading CAD/CAM tools and the chance to develop a varied skill set across multiple production areas.

Key responsibilities

• Program CNC machines (3‑, 4‑ and 5‑axis) using CAM software.
• Create shop‑floor documentation, job packs and support NPI and small‑batch projects.
• Collaborate with designers, buyers, engineers and the quality team to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Work across several departments, contributing to the full production process.

Required profile

• Experience as a Production Engineer, CNC Machinist or similar.
• Desire for a varied role with broader production responsibilities.
• Willingness to commute to Cirencester and work on‑site.

Required skills

• CNC programming (3‑, 4‑ and 5‑axis).
• hyperMILL.
• Edgecam.
• SolidWorks.
• General CAD/CAM knowledge.
