Production Operative – Bakery (12‑hr Shifts)

About the role

Join a busy bakery production facility in Avonmouth, Bristol, as a Production Operative. You will work on both the production line and warehouse, helping to manufacture, pack, store and dispatch baked goods while maintaining high standards of quality and food safety.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and monitor bakery production machinery on a 12‑hour shift.
• Ensure products meet quality and food‑safety standards.
• Pick and prepare orders using a Put‑to‑Light system and record stock movements with a Track & Trace system.
• Load, unload and move products throughout the warehouse, supporting stock control.
• Maintain a clean, organised work area and follow health‑and‑safety procedures.

Required profile

• Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
• Comfortable working 12‑hour day or night shifts.
• Physically fit for manual handling tasks.

• Forklift Truck operation
• Low‑Level Order Picker operation
• Put‑to‑Light picking system
• Track & Trace stock‑recording system
