Production Operative – Food Manufacturing

About the role

You will join a busy food production team in Middlesbrough, preparing fresh food‑to‑go items in a chilled or ambient environment. The role is full‑time, fast‑paced and offers the chance to develop skills in a large‑scale manufacturing setting.

Key responsibilities

• Work on a production line handling raw materials, including meats.
• Cut, chop and prepare ingredients according to specifications.
• Operate and clean production machinery.
• Pack, label and record finished products.
• Perform quality checks and maintain hygiene standards.
• Carry out general housekeeping and adhere to health & safety policies.
• Work towards production targets and maintain accurate documentation.

Required profile

• Flexible and hard‑working with a positive attitude.
• Motivated to work long, early‑morning and late‑evening shifts.
• Ability to travel to the site despite limited public transport.
• Experience in a food or production environment is advantageous but not mandatory.
