Production Operative

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Production Operative to join our busy manufacturing site in Didcot. You will work as part of a collaborative engineering team, supporting the smooth operation of production equipment and processes while maintaining high quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support to the production floor, diagnosing and resolving equipment faults.
• Carry out routine maintenance, calibration and repair of machinery.
• Investigate production issues and contribute to root‑cause analysis.
• Monitor production data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Assist with the introduction of new products, equipment and processes.
• Produce accurate technical reports and maintain documentation.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and quality standards at all times.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong problem‑solving attitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced setting.
• Proactive, adaptable and eager to learn.
