About the role
Albert Bartlett is seeking a Production Operator for its fresh potato line on the back‑shift. You will work on the production floor in Airdrie, ensuring that fresh produce meets the company’s high quality and safety standards during evening and weekend hours.
Key responsibilities
- Operate and monitor production machinery to process fresh potatoes efficiently.
- Maintain strict safety, hygiene and quality standards throughout the shift.
- Carry out quality inspections to verify product freshness and compliance.
- Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance of equipment.
- Record production data accurately and report any issues to supervisors.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production targets.
Required profile
- Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment, preferably in food.
- High attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
- Willingness to work back‑shift hours (Mon‑Thu 5 pm‑1 am, Sun 9 am‑5 pm).
- Motivation to learn and continuously improve.
Required skills
- Operation of production machinery.
- Basic mechanical aptitude for equipment upkeep.
