Programme Manager

About the role

Greene King is looking for a Programme Manager in its Group Planning and Delivery team, based at Sunrise House. You will lead high-impact programmes and projects that turn strategy into action, working with teams across the business to shape plans, align stakeholders and drive delivery of complex, commercially focused change. The role sits within a full-time, permanent position.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain end-to-end programme plans covering scope, timelines, milestones, deliverables and dependencies.
• Line manage a multi-disciplined team and lead cross-functional delivery teams and stakeholders.
• Manage a portfolio of projects, aligning them with strategic objectives and prioritising by business value.
• Set up governance, reporting, performance metrics and risk management to track progress and support decisions.
• Deliver sustainable people, process and technology change through structured change management, moving outcomes into business-as-usual.
• Own programme finances: build budgets, monitor spend and produce cost/benefit and ROI analysis.
• Define, track and analyse KPIs and metrics for project delivery, outcomes and benefits.

Required profile

• Proven track record delivering complex, commercially focused programmes in a fast-paced, multi-site environment (hospitality/retail desirable).
• Leadership experience establishing and managing cross-functional programme and project teams.
• Change management ability, including managing resistance and transitioning outcomes into BAU.
• Data-led, analytical approach with financial acumen.

Required skills

• Programme planning and delivery, with working knowledge of Agile and Waterfall project tools and approaches.
• Hands-on delivery mindset and continuous improvement outlook.
