Project Coordinator

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Project Coordinator to join our utilities business in Watford. You will support the delivery of small‑scale IT and data projects, working in a hybrid environment alongside experienced Project Managers and the PMO team.

Key responsibilities

• Own the planning, execution and delivery of smaller IT and business projects.
• Coordinate release management activities and assist with data‑focused initiatives.
• Maintain project timelines, monitor progress and flag risks or delays.
• Update project plans, Jira boards and delivery status for all stakeholders.
• Produce clear status reports, meeting notes and action trackers.
• Organise meetings, governance sessions and logistical support across multiple teams.
• Build relationships with internal departments, suppliers and third‑party partners.

Required profile

• Experience supporting or delivering small projects in an IT, data or project environment.
• Strong organisational ability to juggle multiple priorities.
• Confident decision‑making within agreed project scope.
• Excellent communication skills for engaging stakeholders at all levels.
• Proactive mindset with keen attention to detail and problem‑solving capability.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of Jira (or ability to learn quickly).
• Familiarity with Confluence or SharePoint is advantageous.
