Project Engineer – Telecom Projects in Scotland

About the role

Join Vodafone Business Technology Solutions as a Project Engineer delivering telecom projects across Scotland. You will work on the Scottish Power Energy Networks (SPEN) account, handling installation, commissioning and ongoing support of critical telecom infrastructure that keeps communities and businesses connected.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver and maintain telecom infrastructure for the SPEN account.
• Perform installation, commissioning and testing of network equipment.
• Provide ongoing network support and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with field engineers, senior project engineers and project managers.
• Represent Vodafone in customer meetings and contribute to solution design.

Required profile

• Based within a commutable distance of Scotland.
• Available for full‑time work (37.5 hours/week) with on‑call rota (1 in 4).
• Holder of Security Clearance (SC).
• Willingness to work onsite in the field.

Required skills

• Knowledge of telecom infrastructure and fixed‑line solutions.
• Experience with installation and commissioning of network equipment.
• Familiarity with automation and AI concepts applied to network efficiency.
