Project Manager – Generator Projects

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead generator and power‑generation projects for a fast‑growing hire‑and‑service business based in the Wirral. You will act as the main point of contact between clients, internal engineering teams, suppliers and installation contractors, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full project lifecycle from contract award through installation, commissioning and client handover.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules and budgets.
• Coordinate technical teams, suppliers and external contractors across the UK and Europe.
• Monitor progress, resolve issues and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
• Prepare regular status reports for senior management and clients.

Required profile

• Background in power generation, generator systems, electrical distribution or backup power solutions.
• Proven experience managing multiple projects in a fast‑paced industrial environment.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
• Excellent stakeholder management and client‑facing communication skills.
