Project Manager – Software Delivery

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex software solutions for a leading organisation. The role sits within a busy Project Delivery team and involves coordinating cross‑functional groups to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope and to high quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the end‑to‑end delivery of complex software implementation projects.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans in collaboration with project managers, business analysts, solution architects, technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Communicate with internal teams and external customers to review progress, manage expectations, resolve issues and mitigate risks.
• Monitor delivery activities using established project management methodologies, processes and tools.
• Identify, manage and control project changes throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Track progress and provide regular status updates to internal stakeholders and customers.
• Support commercial activities by contributing to RFPs and RFIs where required.
• Travel occasionally to customer sites as project needs dictate.
• Be flexible to work outside standard business hours when required to support delivery.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of business and IT project management principles.
• Technical background with the ability to understand complex software environments and delivery challenges.
• Proven experience managing end‑to‑end software implementation projects using recognised project management methodologies.
• Experience working within Agile delivery environments.
• Excellent stakeholder management and customer relationship skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, evolving environment while managing multiple priorities.
• Strong communication, organisational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Proactive, collaborative approach with a focus on delivering successful outcomes.
