Property Legal Director – Real Estate Team

About the role

G2 Legal Limited is seeking a Property Legal Director to join its nationally recognised Real Estate team in Leeds. The role offers the chance to work on high‑value development and investment transactions for a diverse client base, collaborating with specialists across planning, construction, tax and banking.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and advise on complex property transactions, including land acquisitions, development agreements, pre‑lets and forward funding arrangements.
• Manage investment acquisitions, disposals and related financing structures.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional experts to deliver a full‑service offering across the property lifecycle.
• Maintain and develop client relationships, ensuring high‑quality service and commercial insight.
• Support and mentor junior lawyers within the team.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years post‑qualification experience in commercial real estate law.
• Proven track record handling development and investment matters.
• Strong technical, communication and negotiation abilities.
• Commercially focused with a proactive approach to client service.
