About the role
We are seeking a Property Manager to oversee a residential Assured Shorthold Tenancy (AST) portfolio across Hertfordshire and Essex. The role serves as the primary point of contact for landlords and tenants, ensuring smooth day‑to‑day operations and high tenant satisfaction.
Key responsibilities
- Manage a residential AST portfolio, acting as the main liaison between landlords and tenants.
- Coordinate property repairs and maintenance with local contractors.
- Conduct regular site inspections, tenant check‑ins, and handle deposit settlements.
- Oversee tenancy renewals, rent reviews, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Drive property turnarounds to minimise void periods and maximise rental income.
Required profile
- Proven experience as a Property Manager handling AST portfolios.
- Residence in or near Bishop's Stortford.
- Strong knowledge of UK lettings legislation.
- Excellent communication and dispute‑resolution abilities.
- Highly organised with strong multitasking and negotiation skills.
- Customer‑focused approach.
