Property Surveyor – Hybrid Role in Cheshire

About the role

We are partnering with a leading Housing Association to recruit a permanent Property Surveyor based in Cheshire. The role offers a hybrid working model (2‑3 days remote) and a competitive salary of £36,700 per year.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out stock condition surveys and property inspections across the housing portfolio.
• Diagnose building defects and prepare specifications for remedial works.
• Undertake pre‑ and post‑inspections, damp and mould investigations, HHSRS assessments and general condition surveys.
• Monitor contractor performance to ensure works meet quality standards.
• Support planned investment programmes, major voids and asset‑management activities.
• Produce clear reports and maintain accurate property records for future investment decisions.

Required profile

• Recent experience in social housing, property maintenance or construction.
• Relevant trade qualification, HNC/HND or surveying background (advantageous).
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Ability to manage workloads and build positive relationships with residents and contractors.
