Proposal Intern – London

About the role

Christie’s is seeking an enthusiastic intern to join its Proposals team in London. You will support the creation of bespoke, high-quality proposal documents and presentations that help win new art consignments for the auction house.

Key responsibilities

• Assist writers and graphic designers by collating images, writing captions and preparing proposal content.
• Format, edit and scan images using Adobe Photoshop and ensure they are correctly filed in the department’s image database.
• Maintain the FileMaker database, tagging records after project completion for easy retrieval.
• Update departmental folders, libraries and the Proposals Archive server with the latest information.
• Serve as the point of contact for other Christie’s departments and regional proposal teams, providing PDFs, images and other materials.
• Organise monthly writers’ meetings, prepare agendas and circulate minutes.
• Handle general office duties such as printer maintenance, ordering supplies and in-house printing and binding.

Required profile

• Enthusiastic, detail-oriented and able to meet tight deadlines.
• Strong written communication skills and a keen eye for visual presentation.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop for image editing.
• Experience using FileMaker or similar database tools.
