About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Prosthetic Physiotherapist (Band 5) to join the Allied Health Professionals team at Mayflower Community Hospital. This full‑time, fixed‑term position involves assessing, rehabilitating and supporting service users with upper and lower limb loss.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct assessments and deliver pre‑ and post‑prosthetic rehabilitation for service users with limb loss.
- Provide ongoing, person‑centred care as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Supervise and mentor pre‑registration students, sharing knowledge and guidance.
Required profile
- Qualified and HCPC‑registered physiotherapist.
- Practical experience in clinical settings, including placements or voluntary work.
- Open to recent graduates or those about to qualify who wish to start a specialist career.
