Protection Adviser – Mortgage Linked Clients

About the role

We are partnering with a specialist brokerage to deliver tailored protection advice to mortgage‑linked clients. As a Protection Adviser you will join a high‑performing team, enjoy autonomy over your day, and benefit from a steady flow of warm introductions.

Key responsibilities

• Contact clients promptly after warm introductions from Mortgage Advisers.
• Provide tailored advice on life insurance, critical illness cover, income protection and related solutions.
• Review existing protection arrangements, identify gaps and recommend improvements.
• Build strong relationships with the mortgage team to maximise client engagement.
• Manage your own pipeline, maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with FCA and Consumer Duty requirements.
• Collaborate with the administration team for case progression and back‑office support.

Required profile

• Minimum one year of regulated Protection Advice experience.
• Strong understanding of mortgage‑related protection products.
• Knowledge of FCA regulations and Consumer Duty.
• R05 qualification or equivalent.
• Self‑directed, organised and commercially focused.
• Confidence to manage client relationships independently.
• Team‑player attitude in a performance‑led environment.
