Psychology Graduate Mental Health Support Worker

About the role
This full‑time position supports a specialist school’s students with social, emotional and mental‑health needs. It is designed for a recent Psychology or Criminology graduate who aspires to become a qualified psychologist.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with class teachers and experienced staff to deliver mental‑health education.
- Manage challenging behaviours and provide one‑to‑one support to keep pupils on task.
- Identify potential trauma triggers and assist pupils in regulating emotions.
- Facilitate therapeutic techniques and restorative practices under the guidance of school psychologists and therapists.
Required profile
- Recent graduate (Psychology or Criminology) with a genuine interest in child mental health.
- Resilient, supportive and passionate about helping young people.
- Ability to work closely with teachers and multidisciplinary teams.
Required skills

- Daily rate of £90‑£100 (PAYE) and immediate start.
