Public Area Cleaner

About the role

Join the Housekeeping team at De Vere Wokefield Estate and help maintain the highest standards of cleanliness across the hotel’s public areas, event spaces and leisure club facilities. Your work will directly contribute to guest comfort and memorable experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and tidy all public areas, including lobbies, corridors, restrooms, and leisure facilities.
• Empty bins, restock consumables and ensure all cleaning supplies are replenished.
• Report any maintenance or safety issues to the appropriate department.
• Follow health, safety and hygiene procedures at all times.
• Work flexible shifts between 7 am and 10:30 pm, including weekends on a rota basis.

Required profile

• A flexible, can‑do attitude with a strong pride in your work.
• Excellent attention to detail and personal presentation.
• Previous cleaning experience or experience in a similarly physical role.
• Punctuality and reliability.
• Alignment with De Vere values – gracious warmth and a genuine approach.
