Purchasing & Supply Chain Lead

About the role

This hands‑on position is responsible for end‑to‑end supply chain activities at a fast‑growing high‑tech manufacturer. You will ensure materials flow smoothly into production and finished goods reach customers, while building a strong local supplier base.

Key responsibilities

• Place purchase orders and manage supplier relationships.
• Source, negotiate and develop suppliers, including international partners.
• Plan material requirements and production using MRP systems and Bill of Materials (BOMs).
• Control inventory levels, traceability and stock accuracy.
• Organise inbound and outbound shipments, handling both domestic and international logistics.
• Manage goods receipt, store operations and issue materials to production.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, quality and production teams.

Required profile

• Proven experience in supply chain, procurement and material/production planning.
• Background in a technical manufacturing environment such as electronics, engineering, medical devices or aerospace.
• Comfortable working with MRP systems and BOMs.
• Strong understanding of inventory control and planning.
• Experience handling high‑value or technically complex components.
• Practical, organised and comfortable performing hands‑on tasks.
