Qualified Electrician – Direct Repairs (London area)

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Electrician to join our Direct Repairs team, delivering repair and maintenance services to residents, internal staff and partners across the London area. The role offers a mix of scheduled work and occasional out‑of‑hours tasks, with earnings boosted for extra hours.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out electrical tests, surveys and inspections.
• Perform portable appliance testing and produce detailed reports.
• Deliver routine maintenance and emergency repairs.
• Work on out‑of‑hours assignments as required.

Required profile

• NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation Qualification (or equivalent City & Guilds qualification) with AM2 where applicable.
• City & Guilds Inspection & Testing qualifications (e.g., 2391, 2395).
• City & Guilds Wiring Regulations (2382‑18/20) certification.
• Minimum 5 years experience in electrical maintenance or installation.
• Full UK driving licence (no more than six points) and at least two years driving experience.
