Qualified Part‑Time Accountant (Hybrid, Glasgow)

About the role

This is a part‑time, hybrid position supporting a leading Glasgow organisation with financial reporting, management accounts, budgeting and forecasting. The role involves close interaction with stakeholders and provides insight into the business numbers.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare month‑end management accounts with commentary.
• Produce financial statements and conduct balance‑sheet reviews and reconciliations.
• Assist department heads and the finance team in budget setting.
• Review and comment on ongoing forecasts and revenue performance.
• Present financial performance to key stakeholders and sub‑boards.
• Support tax and VAT reporting and provide ad‑hoc departmental assistance.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant able to work part‑time.
• Experience covering a broad range of accounting duties.
• Adaptable and able to take on emerging tasks.

What we offer

• Salary between £55,000 and £65,000 per year.
