Quality Assurance Manager – Manufacturing

About the role

Our client, a leading UK hospitality furniture manufacturer, is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to lead and enhance product standards across their Leeds factory. You will be responsible for maintaining a robust quality system and driving continuous improvement throughout the manufacturing process.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and continuously improve the Quality Management System in line with customer, regulatory and company standards.
• Lead, coach and develop the Quality Assurance team, fostering a culture of quality and accountability.
• Oversee quality assurance and quality control activities to ensure products meet specifications and customer expectations.
• Conduct regular audits, inspections and supplier assessments to verify compliance with company and regulatory standards.
• Lead root‑cause investigations and implement effective corrective and preventative actions (CAPA).
• Maintain quality documentation and standard operating procedures.
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Supply Chain and other departments to resolve quality issues and drive operational improvements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a Quality Management role within a manufacturing environment.
• Excellent communication, leadership and problem‑solving abilities.
• Willingness to travel to local supplier sites as required.
