Quality Control Inspector

About the role

We are seeking a meticulous Quality Control Inspector to join a leading medical‑device manufacturing team in Leeds. The role involves ensuring that components, labels and finished products meet strict quality and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect and release work‑in‑process (WIP) labels and final packaging labels.
• Conduct incoming inspections of components and goods against established specifications.
• Assist in preparing for internal audits and regulatory facility inspections.
• Support final product release activities and valve testing.
• Maintain QC documentation, records and Device History Records (DHRs).
• Perform QC activities for label, product, packaging and raw material releases.
• Provide administrative support to the Quality Control department.
• Carry out any related tasks assigned by the QC Team Leader or Quality Engineering Manager.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably medical‑device or pharmaceutical.
• Experience with electronic document management systems is desirable.
• Ability to follow detailed manufacturing instructions and work under guidance.
• Strong attention to detail and capability to manage multiple tasks in a clean‑room setting.
• Effective collaboration with cross‑functional teams.
• Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
