Quality Manager – Manufacturing

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead our fast‑paced manufacturing team in Plymouth. You will be responsible for driving quality excellence, continuous improvement and problem‑solving across the operation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the quality team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Manage customer complaints and conduct 8D investigations.
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Support new product introduction (NPI) activities and ensure compliance with quality standards.

Required profile

• HNC or equivalent qualification in an engineering discipline.
• Proven experience managing and developing engineering or quality teams.
• Strong knowledge of quality systems and processes such as NPI and PPAP.
• Six Sigma Green or Black Belt desirable but not essential.

• Salary £55,000‑£65,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
