Quality Specialist

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Quality Specialist to lead quality activities across engineering, manufacturing and installation projects in the energy sector. You will ensure compliance with customer requirements, industry standards and our quality management system while driving continuous improvement throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for project quality matters, collaborating with internal teams, suppliers and customers.
• Develop and maintain Project Quality Plans (PQPs) and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
• Lead quality reviews, risk assessments, non‑conformance investigations and root‑cause analyses.
• Monitor quality metrics, identify trends and support corrective and preventive actions.
• Support supplier qualification, audits and quality surveillance.
• Participate in internal and external audits to ensure compliance with ISO and industry standards.
• Drive continuous‑improvement initiatives and capture lessons learned across projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 10 years of experience in Quality Management or Project Quality, preferably in oil & gas or energy.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management and leadership abilities.

Required skills

• Knowledge of ISO 9001, API and ASME standards.
• Expertise in root‑cause analysis, CAPA and risk management.
• Experience with continuous‑improvement methodologies.
• Hands‑on experience supporting fabrication, assembly and construction of oil & gas equipment.
• Familiarity with subsea projects and offshore environments.
