Recruitment Consultant – Health & Care Sector

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Recruitment Consultant to join Reed’s specialist health and care team in Newcastle upon Tyne. You will work with a leading recruitment agency that supports social‑care providers across the North East, helping them find the right talent for residential, nursing and community services.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and grow relationships with existing client organisations.
• Prospect new clients through phone‑based outreach and face‑to‑face meetings.
• Conduct candidate interviews, build a talent pool and match candidates to client requirements.
• Achieve agreed KPI targets while adhering to audit and compliance standards.
• Prepare and present proposals to convert non‑users into active clients.

Required profile

• Previous experience in recruitment, resourcing or sales is highly advantageous.
• Strong communication, negotiation and time‑management abilities.
• Proactive, target‑driven and ethically focused on quality placements.
• Attention to detail and ability to work within compliance frameworks.
